Returns / Exchanges

For a more prompt exchange/refund, please keep your invoice!

If it necessary to return merchandise for an exchange/refund, all merchandise must meet the following conditions:

Returned in original packaging
Returned to Green Supply within (10) days
Returned to Green Supply in resellable condition
Copy of invoice enclosed with merchandise
Enclosed a brief letter of explanation
A $10.00 exchange fee must accompany merchandise returned for exchange
Merchandise returned for refund is subject to a 15% restock fee
All returns must be prepaid; No COD's accepted

If the merchandise you wish to receive is out of stock, a refund/credit will be issued promptly. All returns for refund paid by credit card will receive a credit to the credit card.

Any questions concerning an exchange/refund should be directed to our customer service department. If merchandise you receive is defective, contact our customer service department for instructions.

Taxes

We charge a 6.5% sales tax for camping supply purchased made in the state of Texas. For all other purchases, there is no sales tax charged.

Shipping

Items, if they are in stock, are usually shipped on the next business following the date of purchase. For an additional $6.00, orders placed before 10:00 a.m. Central Time are guaranteed to be shipped same day.

We offer shipping through both UPS and the United States Postal Service. You will have the option to choose a shipping method during checkout. If you prefer to track the progress of your package, please choose UPS as your carrier.

Back Orders

If an item you order is backordered, you will be notified of this by email after your order is placed. You will then be given the option to either be refunded for the item or wait for the item to be restocked. You can check the status of a back ordered item by logging in to the “My Account” section of the site.

Product Warranties

Top Gear Camping does not offer warranties on any item, which we sell. Any warranties are the sole responsibility of the product’s manufacturer. Please refer to the manufacturer’s provided information for warranty details.

Privacy Policy

All credit card numbers we receive are encrypted and secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). We value our customers and their right to privacy. Therefore, we will not distribute or sell any customer information, which is provided, to us, including names, home addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses. Top Gear Camping holds all of our customer orders in close confidence.

Our Commitment to Privacy:
Our customer’s privacy is important. In an effort to better protect your privacy, we wish to make the terms explaining our privacy practices readily available to you. For this reason, you will find a link to the privacy terms on the home page and on every additional page where we request personal information from our customers.

Information We May Collect:
The information that we collect, is that which is specifically required to perform an action which you have requested. For example, if you are ordering products, registering to receive materials, or requesting to be contacted, we will require you to submit information such as your name, e-mail address, phone number, credit/debit card information, etc.

At some points, you may be asked to submit information about another person. This would occur, for example, if you are purchasing a gift and wish to have it shipped directly to the person who will be receiving it. In this case, we will require you to submit the person’s name, address, phone number, etc.

How Information is Used:
The information that you submit to us will only be used to complete the order for which it was submitted. We will not sell or distribute this information to any third parties beyond the extent necessary to complete the processing and shipping of your order.

The information, which you submit, about other people is used in this same way. We will use the information only to ship the product and confirm delivery of the item. We will not share this information with third parties unless required to complete the shipping of the order.

Return email addresses, which are submitted in the “Contact Us” form, are used only to reply to the emails that we receive. We will not use these email address for any other purpose. Additionally, we will neither sell nor distribute email addressed to third parties.

We may use general information about the visitors to our site for generating advertising sponsors. For example, we may say that we receive X number of men to a certain area of our site. In addition, we may say that Y number of women filled out the registration form. However, the information, which we share, is nothing that can be used to determine the identity of our visitors.

Finally, we will not use any of the identifiable information for any purpose other than those listed above without providing you the option to opt-out of these uses.

Data Security:
We have implemented the required physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in order to secure the information that we receive online and prevent it from unauthorized access.

Children’s Privacy Commitment:
We recognize that maintaining the privacy of young children is very important. Therefore, no part of this web site is designed to target children under the age of 13. In addition, we will never collect information from those visitors who we actually know are under 13.

To Access or Correct You Personal Information:
Through the “My Account” section of our site, you can log in to access any of your personal information, which we collect and maintain online.

You can use this section to correct any improperly entered information by sending us an email request that shows the error and corrected information. To ensure your privacy, we will take several steps to ensure your identity before making changes to your personally identifiable information.
